Do we have to move to the cloud?
No. Sometimes it is cheaper to stay on your own servers and fix the process instead. We cost out both options against your actual volume and show the numbers rather than recommending cloud by default.
What happens if a server goes down at night?
An alert fires, traffic moves to a standby node and the on-call engineer is notified. We rehearse the recovery plan before launch rather than hoping the backup restores.
